Gamaliel
The Gamaliel Network is a nonprofit community organizing network founded in 1986. Its mission is to empower ordinary people to participate effectively in political, environmental, social, and economic decisions that affect their lives. The organization provides leadership training, develops local affiliates, and supports campaigns in areas such as civil rights of immigrants, criminal justice reform, and transformational justice. Gamaliel also convenes clergy and lay leaders through initiatives like the National Religious Leader Caucus and the Ntosake women’s leadership training program.
